Canon 7D Mark II ISO Testing

Before the 7D Mark II was released, I read research saying that on the original 7D, the native ISO was 160, and the best settings to use were multiples of 160 (160, 320, 640, etc). I wanted to know if this held true for the 7D Mark II.

This test was performed on the 7D Mark II (standard picture style and in-camera noise reduction off) with no lens and the body cap on - complete darkness. The left side of frame was boosted using an exposure curve in Davinci Resolve. The right side of frame is straight out of camera with no processing.

As you can see from the footage, this theory does hold true for the 7D Mark II.
